This Day In Sports History... Magic Johnson's Jersey Is Retired

1992 - The Los Angeles Lakers officially retired Magic Johnson's #32 jersey. Johnson was the fifth Laker player to have his jersey retired. The other players were Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Growing up as a Laker fan, you get spoiled of what just he meant to the Lakers. When he was on the court you just thought that Lakers could never lose any game. If there was a such thing as a total package: height, vision ,athleticism,and probably the best leader of all time.
